This website serves older adults and their families — accessibility is the point, not a checkbox. We design toward WCAG 2.1 AA and test on an ongoing basis.
Readable typography
Body text of 17–20px, generous line height, and no low-contrast gray text.
Strong color contrast
Text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
Keyboard access
Navigation, forms, accordions, and toggles are operable by keyboard, with visible focus outlines throughout.
Labeled forms
Every field carries a visible label above it — no placeholder-only inputs — with large touch targets.
Alternative text
Meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
Responsive layouts
Single-column mobile layouts, comparison tables that become stacked cards, and no content that requires horizontal scrolling.
Calm by design
No auto-moving carousels, countdown timers, flashing elements, or intrusive popups.
We do not claim complete WCAG conformance — that claim belongs only after formal testing, which has not yet been completed. Known issues are prioritized and fixed as part of ongoing work.
